Vaginoplasty Procedure

Vaginoplasty or hymenoplasty is a surgical procedure where the vagina is made tighter by removing vaginal lining and dropping the width of the vagina. For women who have had childbirth, the vaginal muscles tend to expand during delivery, resulting in a larger vaginal opening and canal and weak muscles. It can be uncomfortable, and even embarrassing. Weak vaginal muscles can also lead to sexual problems or even dissatisfaction for both partners. You can contact us for hymenoplasty in Islamabad & Rawalpindi from certified female plastic surgeon Dr. Shazma Yousaf

Following are the some reasons that our patients have sought hymenoplasty/vaginoplasty include:

Vaginoplasty Procedure

Initially you will either be given local anesthetic, or put under general anesthesia. Our female veginoplasty surgeon will use surgical technique to make incisions in the vaginal walls, and then suture the tissues together with dissolving stitches, thereby tightening the vaginal canal. Any resulting excess skin is then removed. Hymenoplasty surgery is performed on an outpatient basis and you can go home the same day. Once surgery is complete, you’ll spend some time in our recovery room where our surgical staff will monitor you to ensure you wake up fully and are not experiencing any negative side effects.
